Half of the canine population in the United States has measurable periodontal disease and 80% or more are affected by age 6, making it perhaps the most common disease of dogs. Dental health is essential for a healthy pet.

Cats and dogs need proper dental care in order to enjoy the longest, healthiest lives possible. Caring for your pet’s oral health can make a big difference in your pet’s quality of life, especially as he or she gets older. Most cats and dogs need their teeth cleaned professionally for the first time somewhere between two and five years of age. After that, they may need a dental cleaning every year or two. Some pets accumulate tartar more rapidly than others and need more frequent cleanings. If your pet has bad breath, it is probably a sign that he or she needs an oral exam and a dental cleaning. We offer the best in dentistry with our new digital dental x-ray machine and well trained staff.

Starting in March 2021, Dr. Heidi Lobprise will be joining our practice on a limited basis to provide complimentary professional consultations for veterinarians and advanced oral/dental care for their patients. We will offer no-charge consultations for veterinarians, even during procedures. Additionally, we will maintain communication with you prior to the consultation and during the procedures and post-surgical process. Any non-dental services will be declined for patients unless you specifically request us to accommodate them. Lastly, we will not allow a referred client to use Cibolo Creek for future general care.
